The Mt. Pleasant Oilers (Mt. Pleasant, MI) volleyball held off the host Lake Fenton Blue Devils (Linden, MI), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league bout.

The Oilers now possess a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Almont for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. Mt. Pleasant will clash with a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Imlay City (Imlay City, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 1-8.

With the loss, Lake Fenton drops to 8-7 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Powers Catholic (Flint, MI) to battle the Chargers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 20. The Chargers enter the match with a record of 9-8. Powers Catholic lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Davison (Davison, MI)
