The Linden Eagles volleyball squad (Linden, MI), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league contest with the host Powers Catholic Chargers (Flint, MI)

The Chargers (14-8) will now prepare for their contest against Lapeer (Lapeer, MI). The Lightning enter the Saginaw Valley contest with a 3-11 record. In their last contest, Lapeer notched a victory over Carman-Ainsworth (Flint, MI), 3-0, in a league contest.

Next, the Eagles battle the Fenton Tigers (Fenton, MI) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 22. Linden will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Tigers go into the battle with a 8-6 record after their 3-2 league win over Flushing (Flushing, MI).
