In Saturday's non-league challenge, the visiting Logan County Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons.

The Cougars (11-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Marshall County (Benton, KY). The Marshals come into the non-league challenge with a 9-1 record. In their last challenge, Marshall County beat Calloway County (Murray, KY), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Maroons play the Carlisle County Comets (Bardwell, KY) in a non-league test, on Saturday, September 20. Madisonville-North Hopkins will attempt to advance on its 8-12 season record. The Comets go into the test with a 10-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Fulton City (Fulton, KY).
