California High School Volleyball - Maywood Academy can't hold off Orthopaedic

The Orthopaedic Vipers (Los Angeles, CA) volleyball held off the host Maywood Academy Nighthawks (Maywood, CA), 1-0 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Vipers now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Oak Hills for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 20. Orthopaedic will clash with a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Burroughs (Ridgecrest, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-11.
With the loss, Maywood Academy drops to 5-8 on the campaign. The Nighthawks host Torres (Los Angeles, CA) to clash with the Toros in a Southern bout on Monday, September 22. The Toros come into the bout with a record of 0-7. Torres lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Maywood CES (Maywood, CA)
