Mio HomeSchool (Mio, MI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Whittemore-Prescott Cardinals (Whittemore, MI), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The (8-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Atlanta (Atlanta, MI). The Huskies enter the non-league challenge with a 16-0 record. In their last challenge, Atlanta beat Oscoda (Oscoda, MI), 2-1, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals face the Rogers City Hurons (Rogers City, MI) in a North Star test, on Tuesday, September 23. Whittemore-Prescott will attempt to advance on its 0-13 season record. The Hurons go into the test with a 1-8 record after their 3-0 league loss to Posen (Posen, MI).
