Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Scranton Montrose

Montrose Meteors (Montrose, PA) followers left the game pleased Saturday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Scranton Knights (Scranton, PA), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Meteors (6-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Abington Heights (Clarks Summit, PA). The Comets come into the non-league challenge with a 9-0 record. In their last challenge, Abington Heights beat Mid Valley (Throop, PA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Knights play the Hazleton Area Cougars (Hazleton, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 20. Scranton will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 1-2 record after their 3-1 non-league loss to Marian Catholic (Tamaqua, PA).
