In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Ottumwa Bulldogs volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Mt. Pleasant Panthers.
The Bulldogs (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Albia (Albia, IA). The Blue Demons enter the non-league test with a 7-6 record. In their last test, Albia achieved victory over Chariton (Chariton, IA), 3-1, in a league test.
The Panthers now own a 12-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Davis County for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Mt. Pleasant will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont (Eddyville, IA). The Mustangs record now stands at 4-11.
