The Napoleon Pirates volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the host Northwest Mounties to 0 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Pirates now have a 17-4 record. They play next when they travel to Hanover-Horton for a Cascades outing on Tuesday, September 23. Napoleon will play a Comets team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Western (Parma, MI). The Comets record now stands at 15-1.

With the loss, Northwest moves to 1-13 on the season. The Mounties host Hastings (Hastings, MI) to confront the Saxons in a Inner State game on Wednesday, September 24. The Saxons go into the game with a record of 10-12. Hastings lost 2-0 in their recent non-league game against Muskegon Catholic Central (Muskegon, MI)
