The Pioneer Diamondbacks (Mission, TX) volleyball were victorious over the visiting Pharr-San Juan-Alamo Southwest Javelinas (Pharr, TX), 3-0 in Saturday's league bout.

The Diamondbacks now hold a 26-3 record. They take the field next when they host Vela for a 5A Region IV District 31 match on Saturday, September 27. Pioneer will confront a Sabercats squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Rowe (McAllen, TX). The Sabercats record now stands at 26-6.

The Javelinas (0-17) will now prepare for their match against McAllen Memorial (McAllen, TX). The Mustangs enter the 5A Region IV District 31 match with a 24-7 record.
