Port Washington Pirates (Port Washington, WI) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host St. Thomas More Cavaliers (Milwaukee, WI), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Port Washington improves its record to 15-8 on the season. The Pirates host Grafton (Grafton, WI) to encounter the Black Hawks in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 23. The Black Hawks go into the test with a record of 16-5. Grafton won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against New Berlin Eisenhower (New Berlin, WI)

The Cavaliers now own a 12-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Racine Lutheran for a Metro Classic test on Thursday, September 25. St. Thomas More will encounter a Crusaders squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to St. Joseph (Kenosha, WI). The Crusaders record now stands at 5-5.
