The Ripley Tigers volleyball squad (Ripley, MS), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Walnut Wildcats (Walnut, MS)

With the win, Walnut improves its record to 26-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Hatley (Amory, MS) to encounter the Tigers in a Class 2A Region 1 contest on Monday, September 22. The Tigers enter the contest with a record of 12-12. Hatley won 3-0 in their recent league contest against New Site (New Site, MS)

In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Clarksdale Wildcats (Clarksdale, MS) in a Class 4A Region 3 test, on Thursday, September 25. Ripley will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record.
