Illinois High School Volleyball - Waukegan edged by Wheeling

Wheeling Wildcats (Wheeling, IL) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the host Waukegan Bulldogs (Waukegan, IL), 2-1 in a non-league test.

With the win, Wheeling improves its record to 11-7 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Elk Grove (Elk Grove Village, IL) to encounter the Grenadiers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. The Grenadiers go into the test with a record of 4-7. Elk Grove lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Schaumburg (Schaumburg, IL)

The Bulldogs now own a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Round Lake for a non-league test on Saturday, September 20. Waukegan will encounter a Panthers squad coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lakes (Lake Villa, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 0-8.
