Prairie View Thunderhawks (Henderson, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Adams City Eagles (Commerce City, CO), 18-0 in a league challenge.

The Thunderhawks now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Northglenn for a 5A/4A East Metro challenge on Thursday, September 23. Prairie View will battle a Norsemen squad coming off a 14-0 league loss to Brighton (Brighton, CO). The Norsemen record now stands at 3-14.

With the loss, Adams City falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Vista PEAK Prep (Aurora, CO) to battle the Bison in a 5A/4A East Metro challenge on Thursday, September 23. The Bison enter the challenge with a record of 8-7. Vista PEAK Prep won 9-8 in their recent league challenge against Westminster (Westminster, CO)
