Colorado High School Softball - Woodland Park holds off Palmer

Woodland Park Panthers (Woodland Park, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Palmer Terrors (Colorado Springs, CO), 8-6 in a league challenge.

The Panthers now own a 7-10 record. They take the field next when they travel to Palmer for a 4A/3A Co. Springs Metro South challenge on Saturday, September 25. Woodland Park will battle a Terrors squad coming off a 14-2 league loss to Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO). The Terrors record now stands at 2-15.

With the loss, Palmer falls to 2-14 on the campaign. The Terrors host Mesa Ridge (Colorado Springs, CO) to battle the Grizzlies in a 4A/3A Co. Springs Metro South challenge on Thursday, September 23. The Grizzlies enter the challenge with a record of 9-10. Mesa Ridge lost 21-7 in their recent league match against Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO)
