The Gilbert Yellowjackets soccer team (Winsted, CT), was overwhelmed 9-0 in Wednesday's league outing with the visiting Nonnewaug Chiefs (Woodbury, CT)
With the win, Nonnewaug moves its record to 6-0 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Northwestern Regional (Winsted, CT) to battle the Highlanders in a Berkshire outing on Tuesday, September 27. The Highlanders go into the outing with a record of 1-3.
In their next game, the Yellowjackets battle the Terryville Kangaroos (Terryville, CT) in a Berkshire outing, on Friday, September 23. Gilbert will attempt to move on its 2-3 season record.
