In Wednesday's league battle, the visiting Minnechaug Regional Falcons soccer squad scored a close 2-0 triumph over the Ludlow Lions.
The Falcons (4-1) will now prepare for their battle against Wachusett Regional (Holden, MA). The Mountaineers come into the non-league battle with a 1-4 record.
The Lions (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against West Springfield (West Springfield, MA). The Terriers come into the Valley Wheel battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, West Springfield nudged Chicopee Comp (Chicopee, MA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
