The Coronado Islanders volleyball team (Coronado, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the visiting Christian Patriots (El Cajon, CA)

The Patriots (13-3) will now prepare for their challenge against University City (San Diego, CA). The Centurions enter the challenge with a 2-1 record. In their last challenge, University City was dropped by West Hills (Santee, CA), 2-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Islanders meet the Hilltop Lancers (Chula Vista, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, September 26. Coronado will attempt to move on its 1-3 season record. The Lancers enter the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Hoover (San Diego, CA).
