The East Gaston Warriors volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting North Gaston Wildcats to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Warriors now possess a 11-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bessemer City for a non-league game on Thursday, September 22. East Gaston will meet a Yellow Jackets team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-8.

The Wildcats (0-11) will now prepare for their game against South Point (Belmont, NC). The Red Raiders enter the non-league game with a 3-7 record. In their last game, South Point was dropped by Palisades (Charlotte, NC), 2-0, in a non-league game.
