The Summit Shasta Black Bears volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting The Nueva School Mavericks to 0 in the Black Bears league victory on Wednesday.
The Black Bears now have a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to More for a game on Wednesday, September 28.
The Mavericks (0-6) will now prepare for their game against Castilleja (Palo Alto, CA). The Gators enter the non-league game with a 0-5 record. In their last game, Castilleja dropped by Crystal Springs Uplands (Hillsborough, CA), 2-0, in a league game.
