North Carolina High School Soccer - Western Alamance nudges Cedar Ridge

Western Alamance Warriors (Elon, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves (Hillsborough, NC), 2-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Warriors face the Person Rockets (Roxboro, NC) in a Central 3A challenge, on Monday, September 26. Western Alamance will attempt to better on its 6-3 season record. The Rockets enter the challenge with a 0-4 record after their 4-0 league loss to Orange (Hillsborough, NC).
The Fighting Red Wolves now have a 3-8 record. They take the field next when they host Williams for a Central 3A challenge on Monday, September 26. Cedar Ridge will face a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-2 league win over Western Alamance (Elon, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-0.
