Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) fans were thrilled Wednesday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Triangle Math & Science Tigers (Cary, NC), 1-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Wolves confront the Eno River Bobcats (Hillsborough, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 23. Woods Charter will attempt to better on its 1-8 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 8-2 record after their 7-0 non-league win over Excelsior Classical Academy (Durham, NC).

The Tigers now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Chatham Charter for a Central Tar Heel 1A challenge on Monday, September 26. Triangle Math & Science will confront a Knights team coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Knights record now stands at 1-7.
