The Baconton Charter Blazers (Baconton, GA) softball routed the host Randolph-Clay Red Devils (Cuthbert, GA), 16-0 in Wednesday's league bout.

The Blazers (11-7) will now prepare for their bout against Mitchell County (Camilla, GA). The Eagles go into the 1A D-II Region 1 bout with a 0-7 record. In their last bout, Mitchell County was routed by Calhoun County (Edison, GA), 17-3, in a league bout.

The Red Devils now possess a 1-6 record. They play next when they travel to Miller County for a 1A D-II Region 1 bout on Tuesday, September 27. Randolph-Clay will confront a Pirates squad coming off a 9-5 non-league loss to Deerfield-Windsor (Albany, GA). The Pirates record now stands at 6-5.
