The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Glenvar Highlanders (Salem, VA) and the host Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA), saw Glenvar's volleyball squad beat Auburn by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Glenvar upgrades its record to 8-0 on the year. The Highlanders host Giles (Pearisburg, VA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, September 26. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 10-2. Giles won 3-1 in their recent league bout against Galax (Galax, VA)

The Eagles now own a 4-4 record. They play next when they travel to Galax for a Mountain Empire bout on Tuesday, September 27. Auburn will play a Maroon Tide squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Giles (Pearisburg, VA). The Maroon Tide record now stands at 8-6.
