The crowd at Wednesday's league bout between the Waltrip Rams (Houston, TX) and the host Austin Mustangs (Houston, TX), saw Waltrip's volleyball squad beat Austin by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Waltrip upgrades its record to 4-5 on the year. The Rams host Wisdom (Houston, TX) to play the Generals in a 5A Region III District 19 bout on Friday, September 23. The Generals go into the bout with a record of 1-4. Wisdom lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against Galena Park (Galena Park, TX)

The Mustangs now own a 0-5 record. They play next when they travel to Sterling for a 5A Region III District 19 game on Friday, September 23. Austin will meet a Raiders team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Madison (Houston, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 1-6.
