The Centennial Apaches volleyball team (Compton, CA), went down 3-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the host Morningside Monarchs (Inglewood, CA)

The Monarchs (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA). The Olympians enter the non-league challenge with a 8-5 record. In their last challenge, Leuzinger defeated Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Apaches encounter the Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA) in a Ocean challenge, on Friday, September 23. Centennial will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record. The Sentinels enter the challenge with a 2-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA).
