In Wednesday's league battle, the host Commack Cougars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Central Islip Musketeers.

The Cougars (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Lindenhurst (Lindenhurst, NY). The Bulldogs come into the Section 11 AA-1 battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Lindenhurst achieved victory over Brentwood (Brentwood, NY), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Musketeers encounter the Bay Shore Marauders (Bay Shore, NY) in a Section 11 AA-1 battle, on Friday, September 23. Central Islip will attempt to advance on its 0-4 season record. The Marauders come into the battle with a 5-1 record after their 3-1 league win over Walt Whitman (Huntington Station, NY).
