The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Salmon (Salmon, ID). The Savages come into the 2A Nuclear challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Salmon was edged by Ririe (Ririe, ID), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Sugar-Salem Diggers (Sugar City, ID) in a 3A Mountain Rivers challenge, on Tuesday, September 27. South Fremont will attempt to move on its 2-7 season record. The Diggers come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Marsh Valley (Arimo, ID).
