North Carolina High School Volleyball - Union Pines edged by Jack Britt

The Jack Britt Buccaneers volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Union Pines Vikings to 2 in the Buccaneers non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Buccaneers now have a 9-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Douglas Byrd for a United Eight 3A/4A game on Thursday, September 22. Jack Britt will meet a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Seventy-First (Fayetteville, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 1-8.

The Vikings (9-6) will now prepare for their game against Lee County (Sanford, NC). The Yellow Jackets enter the Sandhills 3A/4A game with a 6-6 record. In their last game, Lee County held off Southern Lee (Sanford, NC), 3-0, in a league game.
