The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 2-10. Monterey Trail lost 3-2 in their recent league bout against Grant (Sacramento, CA)

The Cougars now own a 6-6 record. They play next when they travel to McClatchy for a Metropolitan Conference bout on Wednesday, September 28. Kennedy will play a Lions squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Burbank (Sacramento, CA). The Lions record now stands at 7-5.
