The Washingtonville Wizards held off the host Kingston Tigers volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Wednesday's league test.

The Wizards now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Newburgh Free Academy for a Section 9 Orange County I test on Friday, September 23. Washingtonville will confront a Goldbacks team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Goldbacks record now stands at 0-4.

The Tigers (1-6) will now prepare for their test against Newburgh Free Academy (Newburgh, NY). The Goldbacks enter the Section 9 Orange County I test with a 0-5 record. In their last test, Newburgh Free Academy was nudged by Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY), 3-1, in a league test.
