Weldon Chargers (Weldon, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Wednesday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting KIPP Pride Pride (Gaston, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Chargers clash with the North Edgecombe Warriors (Tarboro, NC) in a Tar Roanoke 1A match, on Thursday, September 22. Weldon will attempt to advance on its 7-1 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 7-3 record after their 3-0 league win over KIPP Pride (Gaston, NC).

With the loss, KIPP Pride drops to 3-6 on the campaign. The Pride host Warren County (Warrenton, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Tar Roanoke 1A match on Thursday, September 22. The Eagles come into the match with a record of 9-0.
