The Murrieta Valley Nighthawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Murrieta Mesa Rams to 0 in the Nighthawks league victory on Wednesday.

The Nighthawks now have a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Lucy's for a non-league game on Friday, September 23. Murrieta Valley will meet a Regents team coming off a 3-2 league win over Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Regents record now stands at 9-7.

The Rams (7-8) will now prepare for their game against Los Osos (Rancho Cucamonga, CA). The Grizzlies enter the non-league game with a 1-15 record. In their last game, Los Osos dropped by St. Lucy's (Glendora, CA), 3-2, in a league game.
