The William Floyd Colonials volleyball team (Mastic Beach, NY), went down 3-0 in Wednesday's league challenge with the host Sachem East (Farmingville, NY)

The (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Sachem North (Lake Ronkonkoma, NY). The enter the Section 11 AA-1 challenge with a 2-3 record. In their last challenge, Sachem North went down by Longwood (Middle Island, NY), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Colonials encounter the Riverhead Blue Waves (Riverhead, NY) in a Section 11 AA-1 challenge, on Friday, September 23. William Floyd will attempt to move on its 2-4 season record. The Blue Waves enter the challenge with a 1-7 record after their 3-2 league loss to Patchogue-Medford (Medford, NY).
