The Pahoa Daggers football team (Pahoa, HI), was knocked off 28-12 in Thursday's non-league challenge with the visiting Hawaii Prep Ka Makani (Kamuela, HI)

The Ka Makani (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Honoka'a (Honoka'a, HI). The Dragons come into the Big Island II challenge with a 4-2 record. In their last challenge, Honoka'a was knocked off by Kamehameha Hawai'i (Kea'au, HI), 42-0, in a league challenge.

The Daggers now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ka'u for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 30. Pahoa will meet a Trojans team coming off a 60-14 league win over Kohala (Kapaau, HI). The Trojans record now stands at 2-4.
