Spanish Springs Cougars (Sparks, NV) boosters exited the stadium content Thursday as they saw their football team knock off the host Bishop Manogue Miners (Reno, NV), 38-20 in a league game.
The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their game against Galena (Reno, NV). The Grizzlies come into the non-league game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Galena was knocked off by Douglas (Minden, NV), 22-8, in a non-league game.
The Miners now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to McQueen for a game on Thursday, September 28. Bishop Manogue will battle a Lancers team coming off a 21-18 league loss to Reed (Sparks, NV). The Lancers record now stands at 3-2.
