The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the Schurr Spartans (Montebello, CA) and the visiting Montebello Oilers (Montebello, CA), saw Schurr's volleyball squad beat Montebello by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Schurr upgrades its record to 10-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to San Gabriel (San Gabriel, CA) to play the Matadors in a bout on Tuesday, September 26. The Matadors go into the bout with a record of 0-0.

The Oilers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Schurr for a bout on Tuesday, October 10.
