Mississippi High School Soccer - Heritage Academy knocks off Starkville Academy

Heritage Academy Patriots (Columbus, MS) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team knock off the visiting Starkville Academy Volunteers (Starkville, MS), 4-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Patriots face the Pillow Academy Mustangs (Greenwood, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 26. Heritage Academy will attempt to better on its 9-3 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 4-2 record after their 9-0 league win over Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, MS).
The Volunteers now have a 0-3 record. They take the field next when they host Bayou Academy for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25. Starkville Academy will face a Colts team coming off a 4-0 league win over Magnolia Heights (Senatobia, MS). The Colts record now stands at 10-4.
