The Nantucket Whalers soccer team (Nantucket, MA), was overwhelmed 7-1 in Thursday's league outing with the visiting St. John Paul II Lions (Hyannis, MA)

With the win, St. John Paul II advances its record to 2-2 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Monomoy (Harwich, MA) to battle the Sharks in a Cape and Islands- Lighthouse outing on Saturday, September 30. The Sharks go into the outing with a record of 4-2.

In their next game, the Whalers battle the Nauset Regional Warriors (North Eastham, MA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, September 26. Nantucket will attempt to advance on its 3-2 season record.
