Ayden - Grifton Chargers (Ayden, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Thursday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host West Craven Eagles (Vanceboro, NC), 2-0 in a non-league match.
Next up, the Chargers clash with the Farmville Central Jaguars (Farmville, NC) in a match, on Tuesday, September 26. Ayden - Grifton will attempt to advance on its 9-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the match with a 9-5 record after their 2-0 non-league win over SouthWest Edgecombe (Pinetops, NC).
With the loss, West Craven drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Eagles host Washington (Washington, NC) to clash with the Pam Pack in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 26. The Pam Pack come into the match with a record of 2-8.
