The Bishop McGuinness Villains topped the visiting Millennium Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Villains now have a 8-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cornerstone Charter for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 26. Bishop McGuinness will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Cardinals record now stands at 7-3.
The Lions (4-6) will now prepare for their test against Phoenix Academy (High Point, NC). The Firebirds enter the non-league test with a 7-7 record. In their last test, Phoenix Academy gained a win over Forsyth Home Educators (Winston-Salem, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
