In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Caverna Colonels.

The Hornets (9-10) will now prepare for their battle against Glasgow (Glasgow, KY). The Scotties come into the non-league battle with a 3-1 record. In their last battle, Glasgow achieved victory over Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
