In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Christiansburg Blue Demons volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Pulaski County Cougars.
The Blue Demons (2-8) will now prepare for their battle against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Bruins come into the non-league battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Blacksburg nudged Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Cougars encounter the Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Pulaski County will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record.
