In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Triton Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the E.E. Smith Golden Bulls.
The Hawks (12-2) will now prepare for their battle against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Golden Falcons come into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, C.B. Aycock defeated Hunt (Wilson, NC), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Golden Bulls encounter the Overhills Jaguars (Spring Lake, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 26. E.E. Smith will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the battle with a 10-2 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Terry Sanford (Fayetteville, NC).
