In Thursday's non-league battle, the visiting Shelby Whippets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Galion Tigers.

The Whippets (12-3) will now prepare for their battle against Western Reserve (Collins, OH). The Roughriders come into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Western Reserve defeated Crestview (Ashland, OH), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
