Virginia High School Volleyball - Turner Ashby can't hold off Harrisonburg

In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Harrisonburg Blue Streaks volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Turner Ashby Knights.
The Blue Streaks (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against William Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons come into the non-league battle with a 8-0 record. In their last battle, William Monroe nudged Broadway (Broadway, VA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Knights encounter the Rockbridge County Wildcats (Lexington, VA) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 26. Turner Ashby will attempt to move on its 1-8 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 2-8 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA).
