The La Jolla Country Day Torreys held off the host Santa Fe Christian Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Thursday's league test.

The Torreys now have a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe Christian for a test on Tuesday, October 10.

The Eagles (5-9) will now prepare for their test against Classical Academy (Escondido, CA). The Caimans enter the test with a 2-2 record. In their last test, Classical Academy held off Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
