In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Temple Christian Crusaders volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Roanoke Catholic Celtics.
The Crusaders (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Dayspring Christian Academy (Blacksburg, VA). The Lions come into the battle with a 1-1 record.
Next, the Celtics encounter the Westover Christian Academy Bulldogs (Danville, VA) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 25. Roanoke Catholic will attempt to advance on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 4-10 record after their 2-0 league loss to Timberlake Christian (Forest, VA).
