Washington, DC High School Volleyball - The Academy of the Holy Cross tips St. John's

The crowd at Thursday's league bout between the The Academy of the Holy Cross Tartans (Kensington, MD) and the host St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC), saw The Academy of the Holy Cross's volleyball squad nip St. John's by a tally of 2-1.
With the win, The Academy of the Holy Cross upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Tartans travel to Saint John Paul the Great Catholic (Dumfries, VA) to play the Wolves in a bout on Monday, September 25. The Wolves go into the bout with a record of 4-1.
The Cadets now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Potomac School for a non-league bout on Friday, September 22.
