The West Wilkes Blackhawks topped the host Surry Central Golden Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Thursday's non-league test.

The Blackhawks now have a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Forbush for a test on Tuesday, September 26. West Wilkes will confront a Falcons team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Starmount (Boonville, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 7-6.

The Golden Eagles (2-12) will now prepare for their test against Alleghany (Sparta, NC). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 9-5 record. In their last test, Alleghany gained a win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC), 2-0, in a non-league test.
