The Silver Fighting Colts held off the host Alamogordo Tigers soccer squad by a margin of 3-2 in Thursday's non-league match.
The Fighting Colts now sport a 5-6 record. They play next when they travel to Santa Teresa for a 4A District 3 match on Tuesday, October 10.
With the loss, Alamogordo drops to 1-8 on the season. The Tigers travel to Centennial (Las Cruces, NM) to encounter the Hawks in a 5A District 3 match on Tuesday, September 26. The Hawks come into the match with a record of 7-2. Centennial won 4-0 in their recent non-league match against Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM)
